Buggy Safari

Buggy Tour

The buggy safari tour is a special way to discover the countryside of Crete! You will experience the ultimate adventure, driving through the gorges and olive groves in an breathtaking manner.

Our buggy safari begins from our base in Malia. We will head to the east of the island and make our first stop at the Minoan Palace of Malia. After that, we continue by driving through the beautiful villages of Sissi, Epano Sissi and Milatos where we will visit the famous Milatos cave. We will explore the cave and the little church inside it, which was built in 1935 as a memorial of locals slaughtered by the Turks.

Afterwards, we will follow the route up to the mountains crossing some beautiful gorges and admiring the breathtaking views. Arriving to the village of Sissi, we will stop for the lunch in one of the traditional taverns.

After the lunch we will continue our trip heading to Neapoli. Here we will stop at Vasilakis olive factory and have a friendly olive tour in an award-winning Cretan olive press.

At the end of the day we arrive back to Malia and stop for swimming at a small beautiful private beach.
