Santorini Day Trip: Experience the Magic of the Aegean

Don’t miss the unique opportunity to visit one of the most breathtaking destinations on Earth. Known for its dramatic views and volcanic beauty, Santorini is a “must-see” for every traveler.

Your Journey Begins

Our comfortable, air-conditioned bus will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to the Port of Heraklion/Rethymno. From there, we embark on a high-speed vessel for a smooth and scenic cruise across the Cretan Sea to the heart of the Cyclades.

1st Stop: The Magic of Oia

Upon arrival at Athinios Port, we head straight to the world-famous village of Oia. This is the postcard-perfect Santorini you’ve always dreamed of: tiny whitewashed houses carved into the volcanic rock, blue-domed churches, and narrow cobbled streets.

You will have free time to stroll, explore hidden art galleries, and capture unforgettable photos of the endless Aegean horizon.

2nd Stop: Fira,  The Capital on the Cliffs

Next, we visit Fira, the island’s vibrant capital perched 260 meters above the sea.

Walk the main pedestrian paths lined with luxury boutiques and neoclassical mansions. Take the famous cable car down to the Old Port or relax at a cliffside café with a spectacular view of the Caldera.

To See More: Volcano Boat Trip

During our stay in Fira, you have the exciting opportunity to take a traditional boat trip to the Volcano (available for an additional fee). You can book your spot for the Volcano cruise directly with your guide on the day of the tour.

Please note: Choosing this excursion will reduce your free time in Fira.

Important: This boat trip is subject to favorable weather conditions to ensure your safety.

Whether you choose to sail to Volcano or stay in Fira and explore its elegant streets, the memories of this day will stay with you forever!

– How long is the ferry trip to Santorini?

The journey from Heraklion Port on a high-speed catamaran takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours. From Rethymno Port, the crossing takes about 2 hours 20 minutes.

– Where do the excursions depart from?

The main departure ports are Heraklion and Rethymno. We provide hotel transfers to the port from most locations across Crete, including Hersonissos, Analipsi, and Malia.

– Do I need to book the tour in advance?

– Yes, we highly recommend booking in advance, especially during the high season (July–August). Seats on high-speed ferries sell out quickly, so it is best to secure your spot a few days before your preferred date.

– Will there be free time during the trip?

– Absolutely. The excursion includes guided visits to Oia and Fira, with plenty of free time in both villages for independent walks, shopping, and photography.

– Meals are not included. You will have free time in Oia or Fira to enjoy lunch at a local café with a spectacular view of the Caldera. There are also snack bars and cafés available on board the ferry.

– Can the tour be cancelled due to weather?

– Yes, the trip may be cancelled in the event of a severe storm or high winds. In such cases, you can either reschedule for another date or receive a 100% refund.

– What should I bring with me?

– Please bring your passport or ID card (required for ferry travel), comfortable walking shoes, high-SPF sun protection, and a light jacket or sweater for the air-conditioned ferry.
